WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — Chick-fil-A fans, the wait is over for those famous chicken sandwiches and waffle fries!

A new Chick-fil-A opened Thursday morning at 6 a.m. in West Memphis, Arkansas.

The restaurant is located off 206 N. Service Rd. near the Holiday Plaza Mall.

According to a post from the City of West Memphis, the restaurant features a dual-lane drive-thru, 110-seat dining room, an indoor playground, and 78 parking spaces.

In a Feb. 24 release from the City, Mayor McClendon said:

“In all our recent community surveys, one of the most requested needs has been locating a Chick-fil-A in our city. We are thrilled to announce that they are officially continuing our winning streak and grateful to Chick-fil-A for their decision to locate in our community. We look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

The restaurant will bring up to 80 full- and part-time jobs to the area, according to the release.
