Sewer Treatment
The West Memphis Wastewater Treatment Plant started treating wastewater in 1970. Our goal here at the Treatment Plant is to do no harm to the environment.

Utility Bill Pay
The Utility System, consisting of Sewer, Water and Electric Utilities, is operated by the City's Utility Commission (the "Utility Commission") which is comprised of seven members who are nominated by any member of the City Council and elected by a majority vote of the City Council to serve for staggered three year terms.

The sanitary sewer system operates within the corporate limits of the City. Sewage is collected through an interconnected pipe system consisting of approximately 150 miles.
